The detail

Transmitter Evo is NAT’s revised single-ended reference monoblock, operating in pure Class A with zero global feedback. Its direct-heated transmitting triode can be run at approximately 80 watts or switched to a lower-power 40-watt mode for more efficient loudspeakers.

The output valve is used well below its maximum dissipation to reduce operating stress and heat. A wide-bandwidth custom output transformer, robust power supply and carefully controlled start-up sequence allow the amplifier to deliver the current required by a broad range of loudspeakers.

Hand wiring, selected passive components, substantial aluminium construction and a ventilated protective valve structure reflect the electrical, mechanical and thermal demands of this high-power single-ended design.
