Magnetic Evo is NAT’s zero-feedback reference line stage and the successor to the long-running Magnetic preamplifier. Its all-triode circuit is arranged around a deliberately simple signal path, with custom magnetic coupling used to preserve bandwidth, phase behaviour and drive capability.
The power supply is treated as an integral part of the audio circuit, with substantial energy storage, regulation and filtering separated from the low-level stages. The result is intended to combine the openness of a minimalist valve circuit with the control required for modern power amplifiers and long cable runs.
Hand assembly, selected valves, precision passive components and machined aluminium casework complete a line stage designed for both RCA and balanced system architectures.
