The Bt Type 2.0 brings Premium-series engineering to a more accessible platform. A tungsten-loaded counterweight places the centre of gravity closer to the pivot, accommodates heavier cartridges without an auxiliary weight and improves tracing stability.

The four-layer counterweight damper combines aluminium, polymer, paper and rubber-bonded tungsten. A stainless-steel arm pipe and pivot path, dense polyester/carbon internal damping, four large radial bearings, copper wiring and a 5-pin DIN output are used to minimise resonance and preserve a clear transient response.
